Stand confidant your body should be held straight, hands goes up and take a small step back to widen your stance.
The K.O punch is thrown from the same side as your back foot. When you extend your arm make sure your first is clenched tight/wrapped to prevent hurting your hand. There’s a lot of debate between great fighters all throughout time about the perfect knockout spot or “the button”. Generally its the area right on the side of the neck right behind the chin.
Get ready to throw all your weight into the punch some fights need to end with one hit.
Pick your punch. There are a suite of ways to swing your arm that can be used as a finisher.
One choice is the Uppercut:
Powerful because the strike is coming upwards towards the recipients jaw. Well timed hooks can be very effective in k.o'ing but it is not the best choice.
The Straight punch: Likely the most powerful punch you can throw because of moving your weight in a forward straight line.

While guarded pick your time and release your strike. Focus your aim at the other fighters head while rotating your upper body. Keep your footing strong while slightly twisting your back leg and transfer weight to the front foot as you extend. Focus on hitting the button.

The principles permit the utilization of striking and catching methods, both while standing and on the ground. The match takes place inside an octagon shaped ring with a cage around all 8 sides. Some fighters use the cage to there advantage to pin an opponent wile standing up.
What differs UFC and MMA from other contact sports such as boxing is the gloves that are worn. They have just enough padding to prevent fighters from cutting each other up but they don't stop the blunt force of a great right hook.

Hook and Uppercut techniques
The Uppercut is one of the strongest punches you can throw from the clinch
The right uppercut is a particularly capable and solid inside punch. The target should be at short or medium range in order to successfully land your blow. The uppercut is steered either towering, towards the head under the jaw, or flat to the figure.
Throwing an uppercut
Begin in the examplary boxing stance with the back (right) knee bowed. Bring down the right fist to drop the right side of the form in a semi-hunker position. Recollect to keep the alternate clench hand up by the button to secure the head. Now as you turn the hips send, prod the bundle of the back foot, (the right foot), and punch the right clench hand up towards the target. The right side of the back and the right bear will finish the revolution of the hips. The hips completion being squared to the front. The right arm invariably stays near the form and moves upward in a semi-loop.
To hurl the alternate uppercut from the standard boxing stance, begin with squared off hips, left knee twisted and the other side bear brought down. The figure weight is then transferred to the bundle of the alternate foot as the punch is transported with a curved arm at a right plot and the hips will pivot into the standard boxing stance.
Recollect when polishing this punch to stay near the target. In the event that the punch is tossed from the outside, the rival can effectively distinguish that the punch is advancing and counter.
